The steering wheel spacer is a kit that improves the driving position and boost driving pleasure.
Our steering wheel spacer for Alfa Romeo 4C brings the OEM steering wheel 2″ (5 cm) closer, to improve the driving position.

Until now, to bring closer to the driver the steering wheel of a vehicle that does not have depth adjustment, you could only remove the OEM steering wheel and replace it with an aftermarket one, and a collapsible steering wheel hub was needed to install the aftermarket steering wheel.
Until the 1980s and early 1990s, this was a good solution, but since steering wheels have airbags and steering wheel controls, having to give up these accessories to bring the steering wheel closer had become an unacceptable compromise.
This turns that sooner or later, the owner changes the car with one equipped with fully adjustable steering wheel from factory. With the Spacershop steering wheel spacer, this is no longer necessary: you can bring the car’s OEM steering wheel closer and thus keep the airbag and steering wheel controls active.
The assembly of the spacer is simple and reversible, in case you want to remove it from the car everything goes back to the way it was before.

The instructions describe the procedure for Fiat and Alfa Romeo group cars because they share many components, including the inside of the steering wheel, so the procedure is the same.
