Why approach it? Simple: because you drive better, especially if you are tall.
To be comfortable, with the correct position, without having your knees too bent and touching the dashboard.
How much pain can come to the left knee after an hour in the traffuc queue? And what about the shoulders, neck or back?
Bringing the steering wheel closer allows you to adjust the seat so that you can drive leaning on the backrest, holding the steering wheel as you are used to and keeping your legs more extended, with your knees that can easily modulate the action on the pedals.
Unfortunately, the Panda does not offer steering wheel depth adjustment as standard, but we have the solution!

Until now, to bring the steering wheel of a vehicle that does not have depth adjustment closer, you could only remove the stock steering wheel and replace it with an aftermarket one, together with its specific steering wheel hub.
So you had to buy these 2 components, at about 2-300 € cost.
Until the ’80s and early ’90s, this was a good solution, but now that the cars of that time have become vintage and collectible,it’s mandatory to retain the OEM steering wheel, the one with which the car was born with.
