Description
The steering wheel spacer is a kit that improves cars’ driving position.
Our steering wheel spacer brings the steering wheel 5 cm (2″) closer, allowing to move the seat backwards, to compensate this gap and gain room for your legs, while still holding the steering wheel in a natural way, without over-extended arms. This is a godsend boost for the driving pleasure.

In past, to bring the steering wheel closer to the driver in a vehicle that does not have depth adjustment from factory, you could only remove the OEM steering wheel and replace it with an aftermarket one with different offset.
To install an aftermarket steering wheel, you needed its own specific steering wheel hub: you had to buy 2 components to solve your problem.
Until the 1980s and early 1990s, this was a good solution, but since steering wheels have airbags and steering wheel controls, having to give up these accessories to bring the steering wheel closer had become an unacceptable compromise, which could even lead the owner of the car to change it with another already equipped with telescopic adjustable steering wheel.
With the Spacershop steering wheel spacer, this is no longer necessary: you can bring the car’s OEM steering wheel closer and thus keep the airbag and steering wheel controls active.
