Description
Steering wheel spacer assembly instructions for Renault Laguna 3
The steering wheel spacer is a kit that improves the driving position of cars. It represents the updated version of the collapsible hub: it is like a goblet steering wheel hub, but on which you can install the standard steering wheel of the car, with its airbag and steering wheel controls. The installation instructions are the same for all Renaults, because the steering wheels of Renault cars have changed little in the last 20 years, and only for their aesthetic appearance and the functions offered by the buttons on the steering wheel. But internally, they have kept the same fastening to the steering column of the car, so the assembly procedure is very similar and only changes for the extraction of the steering wheel from the airbag. In the instructions you will also find indications for Citroen and Peugeot, because French cars share many components, including steering columns. That’s why we’ve come up with instructions that apply to all of them, and we try to be clearer and more specific in the video tutorials. The instructions are the same for all Renaults, because the assembly procedure is very similar. In fact, the spacers on the steering wheel change only for the outer diameter, but the mounting method is always the same. You’ll also find signs for Citroen and Peugeot, because French cars share a lot of components. Here you see the installation on a Renault Megane 4. We don’t have the Laguna 3 video ready yet. We apologize and show you the video of the Megane 4 because the procedure is the same for the two machines. The assembly of the spacer is simple and reversible, in case you want to disassemble from the car everything goes back to the way it was before. VIDEO IN ITALIAN VIDEOS IN ENGLISH
