The steering wheel spacer assembly instructions for your Porsche 981 and 718
The steering wheel spacer is a kit that improves the driving position of cars. It represents the updated version of the collapsible hub: it is like a goblet steering wheel hub, but on which you can install the standard steering wheel of the car, with its airbag and steering wheel controls.
The Porsche Boxster and Cayman after the 987 generation are renewed and take on the code 981. A few years later they underwent a heavy restyling and the code changed from 981 to 982. The Porsche 982 is also referred to by the code 718, in homage to the Porsche Spider of the fifties.

The video was shot on a 991 GT3, but it’s okay anyway because the spacer on the steering wheel is the same for all Porsches since the early 2000s.
