The steering wheel spacer is a kit that improves the driving position of passenger cars.
Our steering wheel spacer for Alfa Romeo 2000 brings the steering wheel closer together to improve the driving position, and is the evolution of the collapsible hub for aftermarket steering wheels.

Until now, to bring the steering wheel of a vehicle closer without depth adjustment , you could only remove the stock steering wheel and replace it with an aftermarket one, and combine it with its collapsible steering wheel hub.
Until the 80s and early 90s this was a good solution, but when a car starts to become vintage you feel the need to leave it the same as it left the factory.
With the spacer on the steering wheel, you can bring the original vintage steering wheel closer and solve the problem of the driving position while maintaining originality.
The spacer assembly instructions to bring the steering wheel closer for your Alfa Romeo Spider
We didn’t write the instructions for the Alfa Spiders because the steering wheels of the past, without airbags or steering wheel controls, were very easy to disassemble:
- you pull out the central horn button, or the middle logo,
- The only nut that holds the steering wheel on the steering column is unscrewed.
The spacer is a faithful replica of the central part of the steering wheel and the steering column, so to mount it you proceed as if you were reassembling the steering wheel.
Screw the black part to the steering column by tightening the original center nut, then screw the steel hub to the black part using the 6 Allen screws, and finally insert the steering wheel into the steel part of the spacer, screwing it with the nut provided in the kit.
We have also selected for you a website where all the versions of Alfa Romeo 105 are listed, in a rigorous and detailed way, to ascertain the compatibility of the spacer.
